This study analyzes women`s social gender roles presentations in2000s science fiction Resident Evil series, applying film analysis. The series were selected because the main character is a strong female figure. The analysis concludes that Alice seen as "alternative female hero" unlike the male heroes, is a neo-liberal figure reproduced in line with the existing system`s capitalist needs and demands. Today womanhood and manhood constructs and pragmatics are changing. Although the female is presented as a powerful authoritative leader, the female body is subject to experimentation, examination and cloning by male scientists, and is granted or prohibited power by a male leader. An erotic object of desire the female body is not independent. Even in the present system liberation of the female is possible through masculinity and by ascribing features of the male hero. Thus the female representation is not an autonomous subject.
