The aim of this research is to determine the views of teachers about aim of the book, approach to language teaching and learning, visual elements of the book, presentation of language and vocabulary items, activities and exercises, organization and sequencing, supporting sources and supporting materials of 2nd grade English textbook which is prepared according to English instruction program in 2013. In order to achieve this purpose, a textbook evaluation scale with 51 items was prepared and it was applied to 68 English teachers. Survey method was used in this research. According to the results of this study, teachers have given average 3,19 points out of 5 to 2nd grade English textbook in accordance with aim of the book, approach to language teaching and learning, visual elements of the book, presentation of language and vocabulary items, activities and exercises, organization and sequencing, supporting sources and supporting materials. This result indicates that this book is not-well qualified enough to meet the expectations of teachers.
