School experience is a course which based on the interviews and observations of teacher candidates. Via this course, teacher candidates may recognize the students, teachers, program and school. In this sense, teacher candidates of faculty, guidance counselors, instructors and coordinators of faculty have considerable responsibilities for productive practicing of the aim of school experience course. For successful application, teacher candidates must willing to this profession and solve the problem with appropriately in the environment. In this respect, school experience course has an important place for teacher candidates to know the students, school, program and teachers before being a teacher. In this case, getting teacher candidates’ opinions about the school experience is an importance. Essential problem of this research is that opinions about the School Experience course of teacher candidates who study in Social Science Teaching Program in Education Faculty, Kastamonu University. This research consists of semi-structured interview forms and qualitative study. 4 open-ended questions asked to participants. Teacher candidates’ views were analyzed by using content analysis with coding. It is showed that the teacher candidates had positive point of view to School Experience course and they did not have trouble with teacher, student, physical structure of school and school administration and practicing hour of School Experience course was found enough.
