Objects which occupy an important place in our daily life have undoubtedly been produced through direct necessity The change in life conditions and the needs that follow require the production of new objects As a result of this new objects are acquired Another way of acquiring of new objects is obtaining the objects other communities produce through cultural relations These objects are named by either use of local language or using the name of that object in its native language This study contains the names of man made loan objects identified among the Turkish literary works of Kök Turkic and Uiguric also called the old Turkic period and discusses which cultural field they belong to whether they still survive and the reasons behind why they survive or not Key Words: Kök Turkic Uiguric names objects
