The aim of this study is to show how Turkish language users receipt new lexical formation Because of that to understand if this new elements find acceptance or not we prepared a small questionnaire Our questionnaire included ten new words which were from different fields These words were offered from TDK instead of foreign words especially from English The result of the study showed us that language users accept some of the new formation while other formations were not accepted But it is also a truth that multimedia has an important position in influencing the acceptance of new lexical formation Key words: neologisms new lexical formation new word loanword
