Abstract:

Memorial ceremonies are unseperable part of any given culture Ample of ceremonies beliefs and customs were formed around the concept of death which is an important transition of human life Funerary ceremonies of Tatar people have been performed according to the Islamic beliefs for more than a millenium Nevertheless the fore mentioned ceremonies among Tatars bare some beliefs from pre islamic era called shamanism While examining “death” among Tatars we thoght that it would be suitable to divide the topic into the parts as “before death” “death” and “after death” Key Words: death custom Tatar mouming ceremonies laments
