Economic, social and political conditions affect the labour life closely. Therefore, the legal regulations play a significant role in the labour life and social life of the individuals. In this regard, it is expected that employees in almost all sectors to have sufficient knowledge of their legal rights. This study is attempting to test the awareness of the tourism sector employees regarding their social rights. The data that is obtained within the field research was subjected to frequency and percentage distributions with the SPSS 20 and the obtained results are evaluated in the article. In addition, through the analysis that is performed for the parametric and non-parametric tests, the differences regarding participants’ gender, marital status, and income and education levels are tried to be determined. Relationship levels were come out to be quite high at the correlation analysis which is conducted to determine the relations between different dimensions. Finally, the rate of the dependent variable’s explanation of the independent variable found as 33% according to the findings at the regression analysis findings. According to the statistical findings, it is understood that the unionized tourism sector employees have a high degree of information on their union rights, but their information on their social insurance rights come out to be low. Specifically, it is being observed that the awareness of tourism sector employees on the retirement processes and their rights regarding retirement are lower. Meaningful difference is being observed regarding the participant’s gender and his/her awareness rate on the labour law applications, in this regard it turned out to be that female employees are giving Labour Law applications more than males. Finally, it is being identified that those tourism sector employees who are working for 1 to 5 years in the sector as unionized are following the Occupational Health and Safety Law applications more closely.
