The language of the people who have chosen Judaism in the past, and subsequently have been named the Karaites sect is nowadays an endangered language. Karaim is placed in the Kipchak group of languages among the Turkish languages, and has not been widely studied. The lack of studies on this field, as well as the fact that the Karaim language is an endangered language gives additional importance to studies performed on this subject. Nowadays the number of speakers of the Karaim language has greatly diminished, and has currently three different dialects. One of these three dialects is Crimean Karaim, while this dialect was still in use until recently it is not being used nowadays. This reveals the extent of the danger. While incorporating certain elements from archaic languages, the Karaim language also has elements unique to itself. There is a need for lexicology studies to record the vocabulary of the Karaim language. Furthermore lexicology studies which observe the use of foreign vocabulary which has been copied into the language, as well as the variations or simulations which occur with the use of the phonetic, morphologic, and semantic conditions, have a special place within language studies. When we look at the available studies on Karaim vocabulary, we cannot deny the fact that there are dictionaries. However, in the light of these few precious resources, it should not be thought that there are not going to be made any new and modern dictionaries. In this study, lexicon studies related to the Karaim language, which revealed the materials and methodsare going to be discussedand lexicology studies are going to determine the place of the Karaim language and evaluate it
