Regulation No 772/2004 related to the block exemption regime for technology transfer agreements was revised by European Union Commission. New block exemption regulation No 316/2014 and its accompanying guidelines replaced the 2004 version as of 1 May 2014. Transitional period for existing agreements that comply with the 2004 regulation was accepted as one year (until 1 May 2015). In this article, in order to highlight the main fields to be held in Block Exemption Communiqué No 2008/2 related to Turkish appliance on technology transfer agreements, the major changes in new European Union Regulation No 316/2014 are analyzed in comparison with former regulation and guidelines
