The aim of this research is to examine the awareness of science teacher candidates on sustainability. 74 teacher candidates studying at third grade at the Department of Science Education have participated in the research. Science teacher candidates were asked to draw school in their dreams. Also, science teacher candidates were asked to explain their drawings. Drawings and explanations that were made individually by teachers candidates were analyzed different categories such as garden design, exterior facade design, class design, waste management, energy supply, efficient use, transportation and activities. When the concept of sustainability have been evaulated as a whole, some teacher candidates have sufficient awareness about the sustainability. Whereas most of teacher candidates aren’t sufficient to transfer knowledge that have been learned course to an application from daily life. It was understood that most of the teacher candidates' awareness was low.
