Communication among people from different countries has got easier and easier with the developing technologies. In this process English language has become one of the most spoken languages in the world. So English finds its place in the curriculums of many countries and it is regarded as a significant subject. Turkey, in parallel with the increasing importance of the English language in the world, arranged its curriculums to teach English effectively. This study, which is conducted through case study, aims to examine the reflection of English teachers’ pre-service education to their teaching practices. 30 teachers who are in the first ten years of the service and working in central districts of Konya participated in the study. Data was collected through semi-structured interview form and analyzed through descriptive analysis. The study concludes that teachers take enough lessons in the field of developing language skills but they do not take enough lessons in teaching listening, speaking, reading and writing, that they do not have enough opportunities to practice teaching and that they are lacking in developing and adapting material for teaching these skills. Nevertheless, among the teachers who took lessons about teaching these skills in the pre-service education, reflection rate of these lessons is found to be quite high except for the reading skills.
