The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable instrument that can be used in education for measuring the candidate students’ concerns while using Facebook. Validity and reliability studies of this scale were carried out with 222 (99 female, 123 male) students who study in Sakarya University, Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department of Education Faculty. Experts in the field determined the scale’s content and face validity. In addition, for construct validity, exploratory factor analyses have been conducted in the development. The reliability of the scale has been calculated with Cronbach Alpha, internal consistency coefficient. Studies describing the total variance 55.16’s of scale, consist of 8 items. Exploratory factor analysis has shown that the scale consists of three sub-dimensions. These are about sharing concern, concern about using personal information and communication concern on Facebook. Cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated as .72.
