Abstract:

At their 20th anniversary of independence, the Central Asian countries indicate that they will sustain their priority on the world’s agenda in the medium/long term, even if they are overshadowed by developments based in the Middle East and Africa. In terms of the Turkish World that is passing a critical period and that is at the center of power struggle based on Eurasia at their 20th anniversary of independence, Turkey’s attitude has a great importance. The new policy of the Turkish World of Turkey that considers itself as a owner of the New Middle East has already took place on the agenda of the regional powers such as Russia and China. On the other hand, it is obvious that the target of the New Great Game is the two great powers Russia and China. Thus, in this study we will deal with Turkey’s policies towards the region according to Russian specialists and in this context with putting forward the perception of Turkey in the region we will explain the challenges for Turkey in the region and the new road map to follow.
