Abstract enCatastrophic climate change, when viewed in the span of humankind history, fossil fuel capitalism is a short and very particular period accelerated by industrial revolution. Despite it is a narrow time period in historical span, use of fossil energy sources boosts carbon emission and causes global warming. This fact in causal-link damage atmospheric climate reactions and conduces to catastrophic effect on environment. Turkey, due to its geographic location both socio-economically and politically is a sensitive country which will negatively be affected by the possible side effects of the global warming. Because possible threats of its location, Turkey among countries that will face with problems arising by the climate change. There have been several attempts on preventing global warming. In this context, the understanding reached in Paris have encouraged the hopes for future.
