A total of 300 people participating in the free time activities in Youth Centers affiliated to Adıyaman Youth Services and Sports Provincial Directorate were volunteered for this research which was conducted in order to examine the social skill levels of the individuals participating in the youth center in Adıyaman province according to some demographic variables. The individuals participating in the free time activities in the Youth Centers affiliated to the Adıyaman Youth Services and Sports Provincial Directorate in the 2015-2016 academic year constitute the universe of research. In order to determine the data related to the research, the scale form of the Social Skill Inventory adapted to Turkish by Yüksel (1998), which was revised in 1989, developed by Riggio (1986), was applied in the first part consisting of two parts; According to the research findings obtained from the scale form, the participants' social skills score averages; The purpose of this study was to determine the statistically significant differences between the variables of sex, education, mother education, father education, mother profession, father profession, family income level and actively (licensed) sports situations as well as statistically significant relationships between social skill point averages and age variation In this study, the conclusions that contribute to the literature and the interpretations of these results have been reached. According to the results of the work done; Of the total 300 participants in the study group, 127 were female and 173 were male (X ̅age = 23,81∓7,2056). SBE emotional sensitivity subscale was statistically significantly different between the mean scores of the educational attainment scores. It is observed that SBE emotional expression sub-dimension has statistically significant difference between average scores of mother occupational status. There are statistically significant differences between SBE emotional sensitivity and social sensitivity subscales and social skill total father occupational point averages. There is a statistically significant difference between the SBE affective control subscale and the family average monthly income status point average. It is observed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the (licensed) sporting activities in the social control subscale of SBE. It is seen that SBE has a statistically significant negative correlation between negative affect and emotional control subscales and social skill total point averages and age variable for each scale dimension. No statistically significant differences or associations were found for other variables and situations according to the study findings. Work; The literature about the findings was searched, comments and some suggestions were made.
