Rotation is a method of changing work and it's a method that is mostly used for industrial institutions. There are a lot of studies about job rotation especially in foreign literature. This method had been aimed to be performed by the Ministry of Education since 2002 and it was first appliedin 2010. This adoption brouth about this question " How are the leaders of educational institutions affected by job rotation". Beside job rotation has been a new topic fot education researches. At first, the application of rotation was examined by the help of related literature. The studies that are performed on the areas of rotation werevexamined. Moreover, the purposes, the strengths and weeknesses, the types and the affects of this application were set forth by the help of literature. The rotation applications were held and the rotation applied by the Ministry of Education was studied. Bahçelievler, Istanbul was chosen as the research area. The school directors, who were moved to other schools in this region, were identified and they were interviewed in order to define how their leaderships were influenced. Ten school directors were chosen as sample, school directors and vice- principals were interviewed and recorded. In the research, the level of participation of the school directors to the propsitions about educational leaderships after rotarion were examined. Also, the differences on educational leaderships before and after rotation were researched.As a resukt in this study, how the leadership posittions of the school directors were influenced becouse of rotation was brought forward
