The purpose of this research is getting primary school teachers’ views about creative drama and using creative drama method in Turkish lessons. Qualitative approach was used for collecting, analyzing and interpreting the data. The study group of the research consists of 28 primary school teachers from 6 public schools in Kırıkkale in 2012-2013 academic years. Maximum variation sampling method was used for making the study group. Data was collected with semi-structured interview forms. The interviews were recorded with tape recorder. The data gathered from interviews were analyzed with descriptive analyze technique. The data collected from the teachers who participated in the study were classified according to the research questions and presented in the tables. Also quotations from the teachers’ views were used in terms of supporting the findings. According to the findings; it can be said that almost half of the primary school teachers feel themselves inadequate for applying creative drama, the teachers are aware that creative drama activities make contribution to students, Turkish lessons teachers’ book are in sufficient in terms of creative drama activities and teachers face with some problems in drama practices. Suggestions were made according to the findings
