This study aimed to analyze the articles and proceedings on global warming and greenhouse effect published in environmental education area in Turkey. Docu- ment analysis was used in data collection procedure within the frame of qualitative research; however, content analysis technique was used in the analysis of texts. Examined texts showed that the students in all education levels from elementary to higher education, and even the teachers had concept errors and deficient knowledge problems related to the issue of global warming and greenhouse effect. Therefore, the designation of the researches that will be conducted in environmental education area from now on in the direction of solutions for these problems which can appear in learning would be beneficial.
