This study was conducted to determine and assess the application levels of learning strategies used by the students attending Musical Education Departments in the Departmnet of Fine Arts in Education Faculties while learning piano lesson in terms of different variables. The study design is descriptive and it is in relational screening model. In this study, some data were obtained with through scanning in the literature and the other data were obtained "The Scale for Determination of the Learning Strategies Utilization Levels in the Piano Lessons". The compliance of the data with normal distrubation was analyzed through Kolmogorov- Smirnov test. In case the items in the scale had normal distrubation, the comparison of two groups was performed with Independent t test and One- Way ANOVA was used for the comparison of three or more groups. If any statistically significiant diffrence was found among the groups as a result of variance analysis, Tukey`s test among multiple comparison tests was applied to determine which groups are different from each other and the test result was given in differemce column of the tables. In the test regarding the comparison of the groups, variance homogenity hypothesis was analyzed with Levene`s test to dicede which test to take into consideration. In order to determine the relationship amoong dimensions, correlation coefficient were used. The findings from analyses were interpreted at signifiance levels of (0.01 and 0.05).
