The aim of this research is to examine the public and private primary school teachers' opinions about organizational justice. The study is conducted in survey research design. The population for the study is all primary school teachers serving in the city center of Diyarbakir in the 2011 - 2012 school year. A random sample of 375 teachers from public primary schools and 175 teachers from private primary schools are selected to represent the overall population. In this research, "organizational justice scale", developed by Niehoff and Moorman (1993) and translated into Turkish by researchers themselves, is used. Significance level is taken as 0.05. Results show that there exists a significant difference among teachers' opinions with respect to seniority and gender only in "distributive justice". "I think that my level of pay is fair" is the lowest scored item according to both public and private school teachers. According to the school type, there is a significant difference among teachers' opinions in "distributive" and "interactional" dimensions of "organizational justice". However, public school teachers' opinions are lower in all three dimensions.
