The purpose of this study is to investigate epistemological beliefs and learning styles of first and fourth grade Classroom Teaching and Science and Technology Department Students enrolling Kafkas and Çukurova University in relation to various socio-demographical variables. Target population of this descriptive survey study is all students who attend "Science and Technology and Classroom Teaching" departments in Education Faculties in Kafkas and Çukurova University. The participants are first and fourth grade students enrolling Science and Technology and Classroom Teaching departments. The data were collected through Kolb Learning Styles Inventory adapted by Aşkar and Akkoyunlu (1993) and "Epistemological Beliefs Scale" adapted by Deryakulu and Büyüköztürk (2002). Findings show that there is a significant difference between the universities the participants attend and their epistemological beliefs, and between the belief aspects regarding learning depends on ability and there is only one truth. In terms of the learning styles of students, there is a significant difference in the belief aspects regarding learning depends on ability and there is only one truth.
