It’s aimed that the common and different opinions related to the old and new 5th class Turkish Teaching Program, the coursbooks and the methods to practice them of primary school 5th grade teachers are reflected to the work. It was negotiated with primary school teachers and asked for their ideas about the new program and these are reflected in the research. It’s determined according to the results of the new findings that the study of the New Turkish Program and Teacher Guidebook and Student Workbook is easier for both teacher and student. It can also be said that the articles in the coursebooks which are prepared according to the new program’s approach are appropriated to the level and are interesting. The Turkish Teaching Program and the reforms which are brought with it affects the study of Turkish lessons positively, too.
