Özet:

This paper aims at examination of Namık Kemal's ideas in Hürriyet Kasidesi about the Ottoman people as a political attitude. Hürriyet Kasidesi as a manifesto for the next generations after Namık Kemal, not only style but also new ideas suggested based on human-centered frames, it includes possible important highlights the impact of Ottoman modernization on literary Works. In this sense, Namık Kemals' questioning the concepts of fairness, equality and independence caused Ottoman empire traditions at that time to the necessity of focusing on, possibly for the first time, modernization arguments that it was struggling to put into force. Both the importance and function of Hürriyet Kasidesi, that is argued topics and created discourse forms, was placed to a privileged position in the Turkish mind.
