The characteristics of pre-service training provided are crucial to teacher training. School Practice emerges as one of the key components of pre-serviceteacher education. The current study aims to investigate the curriculum of pre-service teacher in Germany, England, France and Turkey. In this study, in addition to the descriptive, definition and demonstrative technique,in some parts the historical analyses and in most parts juxt aposition comparison method is used. Literature rewiev used, correspondance web site of related countries and univercities were brought together and analysed. Some suggestions were provided at the end of the study. While there are some similarities in pre-service teacher training between Turkey and other European countries, there are some differences in various perspectives. It can be put forward that these differences are mainly due to the fact that pre-service teacher training is viewed from professional competence, technical rationality, or school-based. The characteristics of pre-service teacher training in Turkey are in line with the model of technical rationality. School practice is one of the key components of pre-service training. However, although school practice is very crucial, it is one of the least known components in teacher education.
