This article discusses the correlation of the semantıcs of conjunctives and of the diverse relations they can express in discourse. While indicating the presence of relativity meaning in the frame (the minimally necessary structured information which unambiguously defines a class of objects), conjunctives as subsignes specify relations in context. Conjunctives not only belong tothe most frequently used words, but also denote the most general relations among things and ways of articulation of thought. To express an idea the speaker forms the deep-laid structure of the utterance and projects various relations (relations which allow adequate understanding of the utterance) on the surface structures. In the study of conjunctives in terms of the relations they express, the anthropocentric approach makes it possible to define the mechanism of the functioning of conjunctives in the Russian language more precisely.
