Özet:

In the debates on the labour market, one of the issues that put emphasis on is unemployment. Unemployment, which is subject to many research for many years, showed a great increase in global scale in recent years. In this process which there is an increase in unemployment rates and the number of unemployed people, one other significant subject is that unemployment rate in youth between 15 to 24 years old reached higher rates than total unemployment rates. Like total unemployment, youth unemployment that can emerge depending on various reasons as functioning of economic structure and market structure, has specific reasons and features. Germany is the most successful country in the EU as regards the solution of youth unemployment. The success of Germany is due to the effective implementation of vocational training programs in the Labour Market. For this reason, while addressing the problem of youth unemployment in Turkey, Germany’s vocational education system (very successful in this regard) is compared with Turkey.
