Turkish Islamism expresses one of the most important areas of modern Turkish thought. Turkish Islamism, which is an answer to the modernization problem of Turkish thought tradition, has shown itself from the hands of different scholars since the Ottoman modernization experience. When we speak of Islamism thought in Turkey, one of the important names that comes to mind is the name Special beyond doubt. Special, put forward new and different approaches to the problems Islamism thought tries to solve since modernization age in his works he wrote with his poet and thinker identity. In particular, the fact that he tries to discuss the terms Islamism thought accepts and used most such as technique and civilization, makes his position even more important. The concepts that Special puts forward the world of thought change over time and become a nationalist character especially after the establishment of the National Anthem Association in 2007. The dominance of this language becomes more evident in activities such as conferences, web site articles and magazine publications held within the Association. The concept of the "world system", which has consistently formed a side of the world of thought since the first period, has been tried to be functionalized especially with Turkishness and nationalism since this period. In this study, the concepts mentioned will be put forward and examined within the framework of the thought of Islamism in the writings of Special in Chelimli Çalım magazine published by the Turkish National Anthem Association. The hypothesis of the study is that Special's world of thought has an Islamist character from the past to the present, but that the essence is the same pattern and the form has changed, and there is a difference in the way he expresses them while the ideas remain the same. This style of use of Special, which shapes his language around the problems of the period, will be revealed with a deep look at his concept world. Thus, it can be said that Islamism is seen as nationalism and Islam is seen as Turkishness in the language used by Ismet Special during this period, but the issues that were pointed out remain the same.
