Özet:

Highway Motorized Vehicle Compulsory Liability Insurance (Traffic Insurance) General Conditions were published on the Official Gazette dated 14 May 2015 and numbered 29355 and entered into force on 1 June 2015. Later on February 2 and August 2, 2016, amendments were made to the General Conditions of the Highway Motorized Vehicle Compulsory Liability Insurance (Traffic Insurance). These changes brought about by the general conditions and especially those related to the requests for deprivation of support necessitated the amendment of the Road Traffic Legislation number 2918. Significant changes have also been made in the Road Traffic Legislation No. 2918 in this context. As a result of the lawsuit filed by the Ankara Bar Association for the cancellation of certain articles of the General Conditions of Traffic Insurance, the 15th Chamber of the Council of State unanimously decided to cancel a number of articles on 27 June 2018. In our work, changes and innovations introduced in the field of traffic insurance will be discussed with the mentioned communication and Road Traffic Legislation.
