Tourism is one of the developing services sectors in the world. One of the major economic contributions of tourism to the world is the foreign exchange of a country. The continuous growth of the tourism sector is possible by renewing itself. Satisfying domestic and foreign tourists in tourism sector is important for countries. At this point, the professional tourist guides who provide tourist satisfaction, are a part of the sector and who can bring foreign currency to the country by providing vitality to the market. In this study, it is stated that customer satisfaction is the focal point in the service sector and that the emphasis on customer value is important for the enterprises that want to maintain their existence in the 21st century. Then, the characteristics of the professional tourist guides which host the main purpose of the study were examined and it was aimed to measure the effect on customer satisfaction. In the measurement of this satisfaction, the effects of the service and destination promotions presented by the professional tourist guides on the domestic tourist satisfaction were examined through a questionnaire. Looking at the performance of professional tourist guides, it is revealed how this performance affects the tourist satisfaction. In the results obtained, it has been seen that tourist guides generally provide tourists with satisfaction.
