The main problem of the study is that if belief and religious life have an supporting and healing effect in the face of the psychological problems experienced by the individuals in the divorce process. On dependent this, the purpose of this article is to deal with mental health and religious emotions, thoughts and behaviors of individuals in the process of divorce. By based on this problem, in accordance with the qualitative research paradigm, interviews were conducted with ten participants whose continued the divorce process. The information obtained through the interview technique was narrated as case studies and analyzed and interpreted in accordance with the purpose of the research. As a result were found that individuals in the process of divorce; they have expressed intense emotional reactions marital problems and they have experienced feelings of despair, helplessness and failure, acted with the psychology of escape and avoidance, and experienced symptoms of depression and anxiety –de facto- in breaking marriage. In the face of these psychological symptoms that emerged during the divorce process, individuals questioned in religious and conscientious dimensions; actively use religion to make sense of their situation and events; they consoled themselves with religion; that they resort to practices such as turning to religion and worship, praying, taking refuge in God, and asking for help; As a result of these practices, they stated that they experienced mental relaxation.
