Because of the increasing competition in recent years, employees have an important role in enabling enterprises to carry on their activities. In hotel enterprises in the labor-intensive tourism sector, employees undertake this role at higher levels, in this context, their job satisfaction and turnover intention are also indicate importantance. These attitudes exhibited are closely related to decisions made by employees about their careers and their career problems. In this scope, the aim of this study is to find out the effect of the career plateau perceptions on job satisfaction and turnover intention of the employees in hotel enterprises. Within this scope, the results of the employees’ career plateau perception, job satisfaction and turnover intention are presented by carrying out a survey in five star hotel enterprises in Istanbul. The participants’ answers were analyzed by employing factor analysis, reliability analysis, percentage, frequency and mean values, correlation analysis and regression analysis methods. According to the findings, it was determined that employees’ perception on career plateaus and job satisfaction are ambivalent, the employees’ turnover intention on the other hand is low. The results of the analyses of the hypotheses of the study suggest that career plateau have a significant effect on job satisfaction and turnover intention of the hotel employees.
