Abstract:

Political public relations work is one of the activities that enable the establishment of a sustainable communication between voters and political parties and political actors. Such studies are carried out with the aim of convincing, convincing voters and ultimately ensuring that they have a political preference towards their expectations. The work of political public relations carried out in the framework of this objective is not only an activity carried out during the election period, but the whole of the activities that must be carried out continuously and planned. In this study, the political parties’ public relations work is examined in the framework of the process outside the election period, analyzing the voters’ assessment of these work. The field research method has been applied, and in this framework the data collection tool has also been applied to the survey technique. According to the simple random sampling principle, the study achieved a sample group of 1127 people. According to the findings obtained from the study, the level of information about the work of the political parties, their parliamentarians and the mayor's participants was low, the political parties outside the election period had limited voting visits, the most convenient political actor in local politics was the political party provincial presidents, the new communication technologies were limited to use in the context of political public relations.
