Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the level of environmental courses given in the political science and public administration/public administration degree programs in the state and foundation universities in Turkey. Therefore, it is intended to make comparisons between state universities and foundation universities in terms of environmental content courses. For this purpose, the courses catalogues have been scanned through the websites of the state and foundation universities in Turkey. The degree programmes in Political Science and Public Administration/Public Administration have studied the levels of environmental courses such as ecology, environmental pollution, environmental issues, environmental policies, sustainable environment, environmental management, urbanization and environmental issues. This study is expected to provide information on the provision of agreement in the curriculum / curriculum of political science and public administration/public administration bachelor's programmes in the state and foundation universities in Turkey.
