Floral motifs have been associated with cultural values of civilizations throughout the centuries. Among some flowers, which have also become emblematic in context of religious faiths, tulip and rose have come forward especially in Turk-Islam art. These flowers have been mostly used on art tiles and implemented in numerous architectural structures belonging to Ottoman period. In this study, position of roses, which are specific particularly for Isparta (an important province in global production of rose and its derivatives), and use of these flowers in art tiles are evaluated.
