Günümüzde Bilecik’e bağlı bir sanayi kenti olan Bozüyük, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun kuruluşundan milli mücadele yıllarına kadar önemli bir tarihi geçmişe sahiptir. Demiryolu hattının açılmasına kadar kara yolu güzergâhında bulunan ilçe, Osmanlının doğu seferlerine çıkarken konaklama noktası olarak kullandığı bir merkez konumundaydı. 16. yüzyılın ilk yarısında Kasım Paşa tarafından buraya yaptırılan külliye, günümüzdeki Bozüyük şehrinin varlık sebebi olmuştur. Külliyeden günümüze orijinalliğini koruyarak gelen tek yapı cami kısmıdır. Dışardan sade bir mimarisi olan caminin içinde zengin bir süsleme programı bulunmaktadır.
