Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2018-2019 yılı Gençlik ve spor il müdürlüğü çalışanlarının zihinsel engelli bireylerin sportif etkinliklerine yönelik tutum düzeyinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada genel tarama yöntemi kullanılmış olup, veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve İlhan, Esentürk ve Yarımkaya (2016) tarafından geliştirilen “Zihinsel Engelli Bireylerin Sportif Etkinliklerine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini Bingöl Gençlik ve spor il müdürlüğü çalışanları 110 kişi, örneklem grubunu ise 70 (13 kadın, 57 erkek) oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizi SPSS17 programında yapılmıştır. Normallik dağılımı sonucunda verilerin normal dağılmadığı tespit edilmiş olup, değişkenler arasındaki farkı tespit etmek için ikili değişkenlerde Mann Whitney-U, üçlü değişkenler için Kruskal Wallis testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgularda, katılımcıların yaş, ailede engeli birey olup olmama durumu, meslek yılı, mezun olunan bölüm, engelli bireyin spor faaliyetine tanık olma değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmamıştır (p>0,05). Ancak, cinsiyet değişkeni açısından zihinsel engelli bireylerin sportif etkinliklerine yönelik tutum ölçeği olumlu tutum alt boyutunda ve spor yapma değişkeni açısından ise, genel tutum ve olumsuzu tutum alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık (p<0,05) çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak katılımcıların yaş, ailede engelli birey olup olmama durumu meslek yılı, mezun olunan bölümün tutum düzeyini etkilemediği, ancak, cinsiyet değişkeni açısından olumlu tutum alt boyutunda kadınlar, spor yapma değişkenini açısından ise genel tutumun spor yapanlar, olumsuz tutum alt boyutunda ise spor yapmayanlar lehine anlamlı çıkmıştır. Bu manada, spor yapmanın katılımcıların tutum düzeyi üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğunu söyleyebiliriz
The aim of this study is to examine the level of attitude of the employees of the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate for the 2018-2019 year towards the sports activities of mental disabled individuals. The study used the general scan method, and as a data collection tool, the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researchers and the "Method of Attitude to the Sports Events of Mental Disabled Individuals" developed by Ilhan, Esentürk and Yarımkaya (2016) was used. The universe of the study of the Bingöl Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate employs 110 people, and the sample group is 70 (13 women, 57 men). The analysis of the data is done in the SPSS17 program. The normality distribution resulted in the fact that the data were not normally distributed, and the Mann Whitney-U test for the triple variables was applied to identify the difference between the variables. In the findings obtained, there was no significant difference in the age of the participants, the status of being a disabled person in the family, the professional year, the graduated section, the variables of witnessing the disabled individual’s sports activity (p>0,05). However, in terms of gender variation, the scale of attitude towards the sporting activities of mental disabilities is a positive attitude low and in terms of sporting variation, a significant difference in general attitude and negative attitude low (p<0,05) has emerged. As a result, the age of participants, the condition of being a person with disabilities in the family, the professional year, the graduated section has not affected the level of attitude, but, in terms of gender variation, the positive attitude of the women, the variation of sporting, the general attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes, the negative attitude of the athletes. In this manada, we can say that doing sports has a positive impact on the attitude level of participants.
