Fon sağlayabilme ve kurumların taşıdığı risk bu kurumları riski transfer etme ve yeni fon tedariki yöntemlerine yönlendirmiştir. Risk transferi piyasaların önemli özelliklerinden birisidir. Herhangi bir finansal işlemin barındırdığı risk, onu üstlenmeye razı kişi ve kurumlara aktarılabilmektedir. Bu anlamda oluşan risk ticareti, yapılandırılmış finansın gelişmesiyle sonuçlanmıştır. Yapılandırılmış finans, finansal kurumlarca komplike işlemlerin kullanımı ile gerçekleşen ve firmaların özel finansmana olan gereksinimlerine cevap verebilmek adına oluşturulan hizmetleri ifade etmektedir. Menkul kıymetleştirme, ifade edilen bu yapılandırılmış finans tekniklerinden birini oluşturmaktadır ve bu işlem, bir havuzda bir araya getirilen likit olmayan varlıklara dayalı olarak ödeme gerçekleştiren varlıkların, likit olan menkul kıymetlere dönüştürülmesi işlemi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel amacı Türkiye’deki menkul kıymetleştirme uygulamalarının incelenmesidir. Bu kapsamda ise menkul kıymetleştirme hakkında genel bilgiler, süreç, sürecin tarafları, avantaj ve dezavantajları, riskleri gibi unsurlar teorik açıdan incelenmektedir.

In this sense, the risk trading resulted in the development of structured finance. Structured finance means services created by financial institutions with the use of complicated transactions and in order to meet the needs of private financing of companies. Securities are one of these structured financial techniques expressed, and this process is defined as the process of converting the assets that make payment on the basis of non-liquid assets gathered in a pool into liquid assets. The main objective of the study is to study the practices of valuation in Turkey. In this context, the general information, the process, the parties of the process, the advantages and disadvantages, the risks are theoretically studied.

Structured finance refers to the services created by financial institutions with the use of complicated transactions and in order to meet the needs of firms for private financing. Securitization constitutes one of these structured finance techniques, which is defined as the process of converting assets that make payments based on non-liquid assets that are pooled together into liquid securities. The main objective of the study is to examine the securitization practices in Turkey. In this context, general information about securitization, process, sides of the process, advantages and disadvantages, risks are examined from a theoretical perspective.
