Abstract:

In this study, as a result of interviews with 15 pre-school teachers working in kindergartens in Samsun province, methods, techniques and approaches applied in pre-school period music activities were tried to be determined. The data obtained from interviews were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. According to the results of the research; it was determined that the activities that the teachers had the most emphasis on music activities were rhythm studies, secondly Orff studies and third place singing activities. Seven of the teachers stated that they gave music events every day, three of them gave 3 days a week, two of them gave 2 days a week, and one of them gave 1 day a week. It was determined that 13 of the teachers received music education during undergraduate education.
