This study aims to test the effectiveness of an attention skills improvement based program on the fifth grade students who are not diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and to show to what degree attention skills improvement training is successful. This study is an experimental study. The study was conducted in 2010 – 2011 education year in Çanakkale and the study group is composed of the schools in Çanakkale Province as 27 students in control group and 27 students in experiment group which makes 54 students in total. The students were given a 15 hour attention skills improvement course and the students were given the Bourdon Test before and after the course. According to the results gathered from the research the students who participated in the course have increased their attention levels compared to the students who did not participate in the course. The training an attention skills improvement is defined to be beneficial by the students and the teachers who participated in 15 hour training activity.
