Distance education programs have become more widespread in recent years, taking place among undergraduate higher education programs. In fact, some post-graduate programs of some higher education institutions have started to be offered through distance education. Despite all these developments, there is no definite evidence yet that distance education is more functional than traditional education. This research is planned from this deficiency. In this context, face-toface interviews were conducted with 53 students who were enrolled in İstanbul University of Psychology and Turkish Language Distance Education programs. During the interview, six open-ended questions were answered by researchers. The answers that the students gave to these questions were evaluated according to the content analysis. One of the findings of the research is that about half of the students cannot learn with distance education about "learning by distance education". When compared with traditional education and distance education, the subjects that students emphasize are that distance education is more comfortable because they are accustomed to beating, failing due to weakening of their duties and responsibilities, but they have the chance to repeat the course many times and are not under the pressure of teachers. The most important problem in distance education activities in our country is that there is no standard for services. For this reason, it is of great interest that the institutions that claim to teach distance education are supervised by a team of various field specialists
