Bu çalışmada lise son sınıf öğrencisi olan ergen bireylerin internet bağımlılığı ve anne baba tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma deseni olarak genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır ve Kırıkkale ilinin Osmangazi ilçesinde yer alan Osmangazi Anadolu lisesinde öğrenim gören 60 lise son sınıf öğrencisine Kişisel Bilgi Formu, İnternet Bağımlılık Ölçeği ve Anne Baba Tutum Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrenciler internet bağımlılık düzeylerine göre belirti göstermeyen, sınırlı belirti gösteren ve patolojik internet bağımlısı şeklinde gruplara ayrılmış ve bu grupların algılanan anne-baba tutumları (demokratik, koruyucu/istekçi, otoriter) arasındaki farkın anlamlılığını tespit etmek amacıyla tek yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmıştır. Demokratik ve otoriter aile yapısında öğrencilerin internet bağımlılık düzeylerine göre ortaya çıkan ortalama farklılıkları anlamlı bulunmamıştır. Fakat koruyucu/istekçi aile yapısında ortaya çıkan ortalama farklılıkları anlamlı bulunmuştur.
This study aims to explore the relationship between internet addiction and parents’ attitudes of adolescents who are high school students. The general scan model has been used as the research model and the personal information form, the Internet addiction scale and the mother-father attitude scale have been applied to 60 high school students who have studied at Osmangazi Anadolu high school in Osmangazi district of Kırıkkale. Students who participated in the study were divided into groups with no signs according to the levels of internet addiction, limited signs and pathological internet addiction, and one-way variance analysis was implemented in order to identify the significance of the difference between the parents and parents attitudes perceived by these groups (democratic, protective/willful, authority). The average differences in the democratic and authoritarian family structure arising from the levels of internet addiction of students have not been found meaningful. However, the average differences occurring in the protective/wanted family structure have been found significant.
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between internet addiction and parenting attitudes of adolescents who were senior students in a high school. In order to collect data, Personal Information Form, Internet Addiction Scale and Parental Attitude Scale were applied to 60 high school senior year students in Osmangazi Anatolian High School in Kırıkkale province through survey method. The students who participated in the study were divided into groups with no symptoms, limited symptoms and pathological internet addicts according to internet addiction levels and one-way analysis of variance was used to determine the significance of the difference between perceived parental attitudes (democratic, protective / demanding, authoritarian). In the democratic and authoritarian family structure, the average differences of the students according to the levels of internet addiction were not significant. However, the mean differences in the protective/demanding structure were found to be significant.
