Liderlik geçmişten bugüne bireylerin, örgütlerin ve toplumların ilgisini çeken önemli bir konudur. Değişen ve gelişen koşullara göre şekil alan liderlik türleri arasında yer alan ve son zamanlarda daha çok incelenen otantik ve hizmetkâr liderlik konuları bu çalışmanın odağını oluşturmaktadır. İşletmenin devamlılığı için lider kadar önemli bir diğer unsur da işletmenin çalışanları ve onların performanslarıdır. Algılanan liderlik tarzı ile çalışanların ortaya koyacakları performans arasındaki ilişkilerden hareketle kurgulanan bu çalışmanın amacı, çalışanların otantik ve hizmetkâr liderlik algılamalarının onların performansları üzerindeki etkilerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Çalışma saha araştırması yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama tekniği olarak anket tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma, Kayseri İli Organize Sanayi Bölgesindeki bir işletmede çalışan 159 kişi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre çalışanların hizmetkâr liderlik algılamalarının onların görev ve bağlamsal performansları ile anlamlı bir etkileşime sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu etkileşimde demografik değişkenlerden eğitim seviyesinin düzenleyicilik rolü oynadığı tespit edilmiştir. Otantik liderlik algılamalarının ise görev performansı ile herhangi bir anlamlı ilişkisinin olmadığı, bağlamsal performans ile ise sadece etik boyutu kapsamında anlamlı etkileşime sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Leadership is an important subject of interest from the past to the present of individuals, organizations and communities. The authentic and serviced leadership topics, which are among the types of leadership that are shaped according to the changing and developing conditions and are more recently studied, are the focus of this study. Another important element as a leader for the continuity of the business is the employees of the business and their performance. The aim of this study, based on the relationships between the behavior style and the performance that employees will show, is to reveal the effects of the authentic and serviced leadership perceptions of employees on their performance. The study was conducted by the research method. The data collection technique is used as an analysis technique. The study was carried out with 159 people working in an enterprise in Kayseri’s Organized Industrial Area. According to the findings obtained, employees’ serving leadership perceptions have a meaningful interaction with their tasks and contextual performance. In this interaction, it has been found that the level of education from demographic variables plays a regulatory role. The authentic leadership perceptions have found that they have no meaningful relationship with the performance of the task, and that they have meaningful interactions with the context performance only within the ethical dimension.
Leadership from the past to the present has played an important role for individuals within organizations and society as a whole. In the face of changing conditions, various types of leadership styles have emerged and in recent times, authentic and servant types of leadership have received a lot of attention. This study focused on both authentic and servant types of leadership along with the performance of employees which are all essential factors for the success of any business. Assuming that there is a relationship between perceived leadership and employee performance, this study aims to determine the effects of the employees’ authentic and servant leadership perception on their performance. The study was carried out by field survey method. Surveys were used as data collection techniques. The sample of the study consists of 159 employees in a factory in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone. The findings show that ‘the employees’ authentic and servant leadership perception’ has an effect on the employees’ performance. According to the data inquired, that task and contextual performance have a meaningful interaction with the employee’s servant leadership perception has seen as a result. The education level has played a role of moderator in the influence of the servant leadership on the performance of the employee. Authentic leadership perceptions were found to have no meaningful relationship with task performance and contextual performance had a significant interaction with ethical dimension only.
