In recent years, the number of universities in our country has increased gradually and new departments/programs have started accordingly. In parallel with this increase, the number of Management of Health Institutions programs have also increased considerably. It is thought that numerous number of graduates will cause the students to be in hopelessness and anxiety about getting a job. The purpose of study is determination of occupational anxiety and hopelessness levels and relationships between one another for management of healthcare institutions students. This research was conducted in one state and one foundation university and was applied on 291 students. Despite the fact that the most of the students (82.5%) were tenterhooks about finding a job, in general the levels of hopelessness and state/trait anxiety were found in the middle level. Another striking finding is similarity between proportion of regret and of those who do not regret (49,8% - 50,2%). There was observed positive correlation between hopelessness and state-trait anxiety. Consequently, it can be said that the main cause of negative thoughts such as hopelessness and anxiety is the inability to find job.
