Abstract:

İşletmeler kâr elde etme, sürekli büyüme, topluma hizmet etme ve çalışan istihdam etmek gibi birtakım amaçlara sahiptir. Bu amaçların gerçekleştirilebilmesinde ise işletmenin kurumsallaşma düzeyi oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Bir işletmenin kurumsallaşma düzeyini ifade eden birçok gösterge olmakla birlikte, bunlardan birisi de insan kaynakları uygulamalarıdır. İnsan kaynaklarının işe alım, eğitim ve geliştirme, performans ve ücret yönetimi gibi temel uygulamaları kurumsallaşmış işletmelerdeki bilinen yaygın uygulamalardır. Bu bağlamda, araştırmamız Türkiye’de kurumsallaşmanın en başarılı örneklerinden, bankacılık sektöründe gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada insan kaynaklarının temel uygulamalarının, kurumsallaşma algısı üzerindeki öncüllük etkisinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, İstanbul ilindeki özel ve kamu banka çalışanlarından anket tekniğiyle veriler toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi neticesinde İK uygulamalarının, kurumsallaşmanın alt boyutlarından olan yapı ve işleyişin kurallı hale gelmesi, sürdürülebilir rekabet avantajı sağlama, süreklilik ve yönetimin profesyonelleşmesi boyutları üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmanın literatüre katkı sunmasının yanı sıra ülkemizdeki en önemli sektörlerden olan bankacılık sektörü açısından çözüm önerileri getirmesi de beklenmektedir.

The leadership role of human resources applications on the corporate perception

Abstract:

Companies have a number of goals such as gaining profit, continuous growth, serving society and employing employees. When these objectives are achieved, the level of corporationalization of the company is very important. Although there are many indicators that represent a business’s corporate level, one of them is human resource practices. The basic practices of human resources such as recruitment, training and development, performance and wage management are common practices known in corporate enterprises. In this context, our research has been conducted from successful examples of corporationalization in Turkey, in the banking sector. The aim of the study is to identify the primary effects of human resources on the perception of corporationalization. For this purpose, data from private and public bank employees in the province of Istanbul have been collected using the survey technique. As a result of the analysis of the data, it has been found that HR practices have a positive and meaningful impact on the dimensions of corporationalization; the structure and functioning are normalized, the sustainable competitive advantage is provided, continuity and the professionalization of management. In addition to the contribution of the study to literature, it is also expected that it will bring solutions from the banking sectors that are important sectors in our country.

Enterprises have a number of purposes, such as profit generation, continuous growth, serving the community and employing employees. In order to realize these objectives, the institutionalization level of the enterprise is very important. There are many indications of the institutionalization level of an enterprise one of which is human resources practices. The basic practices of human resources such as recruitment, training and development, performance and remuneration management are common practices in institutionalized enterprises. In this context, our research was carried out in the banking sector which is one of the most successful examples of institutionalization in Turkey.  In this study, it is aimed to reveal the antecedent effects of basic human resources practices on institutionalization perception. For this purpose, survey data were collected from private and public bank employees in Istanbul. As a result of the analysis of the data, it was seen that HR practices have a positive and significant effect on the sub-dimensions of institutionalization like making the structure and the operation normative, providing a positive competitive advantage and continuity and professionalization of the management. In addition to contributing to the literature, the study is expected to offer solutions in terms of the banking sector which is one of the most important sectors in our country
