That actions can happen, the verbs must be conjugate in sentences with including the time concept as essential prerequisite. But there are also word groups which basically present the time concept. These word groups can be noun phrases, reduplications and other word groups. If we research the the naming about time in the Turkish language, we can determine that there is a rich vocabulary. The Turkish society is known as nomads, which have also established and protect their sociocultural living, their religious rituals and many other traditions, where the naming of time come to exist. The naming of time is also seen on the orkhon‐scripts. In general for the word “time”, were the word “öd” used. In Addition, the scripts are shown us that for the word “night” is used “tün”, for “morning” is supplied “küntüz” and for the meaning of “year” is used “yil”. Beside the naming of time with Turkish origin words, there are many other rewards which are created by taken another words. The basis of this reason is, there were other social, economic and cultural factors to influence the language. This Studying involves the research in many books which are written from the 13 century turkish language and scanning dictionaries as referred about this concept . After that the collected informations were categorised and rated. At the beginning the words were rated by their structure. Secondly the words were rated by their meaning. At the last resort the time words which used as adverbs were investigated.
