Because the novel, which is uses history as a material, will be a source for other literary genres by feeding both itself and the author. One of the novels in history is the historical novel. While some of the authors of historical novels do not take it beyond the use of historical decor, some view the content as history-oriented and historical information. The novels created with this kind of approach are evaluated in the category of realistic historical novels with traditional / chronological editions. Halide Nusret Zorlutuna is one of the authors who see the purpose of narrating history in this context. Urfa has a special place in the life of Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, who came to Urfa because of her husband's appointment and worked as a teacher as long as she stayed here. As a matter of fact, one of the priority cities chosen as a venue for poems and novels is Istanbul and the other is Urfa. During his four years in Urfa, the author collects material for the novel he wrote, evaluating and recording every moment; the opportunity of seeing the places where the events have passed by listening to the collective manifestation of the living war period from the living witnesses.
