Objectives: The study was made in order to determine physical problems experienced during pregnancy and to examine relation between pregnancy problems and the socio-demographic/fertility characteristics. Method: The study was carried out on pregnants that were registered in Pregnancy Card in 1 and 2 No primary health units' area in Manisa city centre. Between September 2004 to December 2004 was period of the study. 195 pregnants participated within the study and pregnant addresses were obtained from primary health units. Socio-demographic, fertility characteristics questionnaire, which was prepared by researcher and pregnancy problems list, which was developed by Bakıcı were used for the data collection. Percent distribution, Mann-Whitney U test, student t - test and Kruscal Wallis test were used for evaluation of the data. If the p value was <0.05, the difference was considered significant and the data were evaluated with SPSS for Windows 10.0. Findings: Our research findings indicated that the mean score for pregnancy problems have been found 11.2+3.9 (2-20) out of total 24 problems. The most experienced problems in the first trimester of pregnancies were as follows; polyuria (88.9%), fatigue (83.3%), and nausea-vomit (72.2%) respectively. Also in the second trimester these problems included polyuria (90.6%). fatigue (83.5%), and lumbago (76.5%). The pregnancies experienced fatigue (90.2%), polyuria (88.0%), and lumbago (83.7%) problems in the third trimester. There was significant statistıcal relationship between application of health institution, smoking in pregnancy, pregnancy trimesters, harmony between women and husbands, family income status, and the pregnancy problems that women experienced (p<0.05).
