Abstract:

Tuuml;rkiye gibi gelişmekte olan uuml;lkelerde kırsal alanlardan şehirlere hızlı bir gouml;ccedil; yaşanmaktadır. Bu suuml;reccedil;, hem kır hem de şehirler accedil;ısından bir takım guuml;ncel sorunları beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu bağlamda, gouml;ccedil;uuml;n kaynağı durumundaki kır nuuml;fusunun şehir algılarının tespit edilmesi ouml;nem taşımaktadır. Elde edilecek bulgular, kır ve şehir buuml;tuuml;nleşmesini sağlamaya youml;nelik ccedil;alışmalara youml;n verebilir.nbsp; Araştırmamızda, kırsal kesimde yaşayan nuuml;fusun şehir algıları betimsel bir youml;ntemle taranmıştır. Bu amaccedil;la, Trabzon'a bağlı merkez Yeşilyurt kouml;yuuml;nden seccedil;ilen 184 kişiye anket uygulanmış, veriler SPSS'de analiz edilmiş ve bulgular tablolaştırılarak yorumlanmaya ccedil;alışılmıştır. Bu ccedil;alışmada kır nuuml;fusunun şehir algılarına youml;nelik ccedil;eşitli bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Ouml;rneklemi oluşturan grubun şehirleri eğitim, sağlık, alışveriş ve iş merkezleri olarak gouml;rmelerine rağmen, ouml;nemli bir kısmının şehre yerleşmek istemediği ortaya ccedil;ıkmıştır. Bunun yanında ccedil;evre kirliliği, aşırı kalabalık ve trafik sorunları ile guuml;ruuml;ltuuml; şehirlerin başlıca iticilikleri olarak tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Şehir, kır, kır nuuml;fusu, şehir algısı, Trabzon. Abstract In developing countries like Turkey, there has been a rapid process of migration from rural areas into city centers. This process has created some problems along with it both as regards rural areas and cities. Thus, the understanding of city by rural population as the source of migration into cities is important. The findings may direct the studies towards providing the wholeness of rural and city. In our study, the understanding of city by rural population was investigated. For this purpose, 184 persons from Yeşilyurt village, Trabzon, were questionnaired. Data were analyzed by SPSS and findings were tabulated and evaluated. The study revealed some findings regarding understanding of city by villagers. Although the individuals in rural areas regarded cities as centres of education, health, shopping and business, a great number of them are not willing to settle into cities. Besides, environmental pollution, overpopulation, traffic problems and noise pollution are among the factors they decrease the value of cities.
