Bu çalışma, Erzurum Arkeoloji Müzesi kolek-siyonuna satın alma ve müsadere (mahkeme) yoluyla kaydedilen beş farklı Kappadokia kralına ait toplam 16 gümüş sikkeden oluşmaktadır. İlk kez bir bütün olarak değerlendirilen sikkeler, Simonetta’nın oluşturduğu kataloğa göre kronolojik olarak tarihlendirilerek tanımlanmıştır. Erzurum Arkeoloji Müzesi’ndeki Kappadokia Krallığı sikkeleri, envanterdeki diğer sikkelere oranla az sayıda temsil edilmektedir. Ancak yapılan bu çalışma, ülkemizdeki farklı mü-zelerde yapılacak benzer çalışmalar ve define buluntularıyla elde edilen verilerin karşılaştırılması ve değerlendirilmesine katkı sağlaması açısından önemdir. Yapılan ince-lemelere göre, V. Ariarathes’e ait olan Kat. No. 1’deki sikkenin, kralın daha önceki yıllarda yapılan darplarından ayrılan üslubu ve tanımsız lejant yapısı ile 3. yılında “barbar tarzda” basılan sikkelerinden olduğu tespit edilmiştir. VII. Aria-rathes’e ait olan Kat. No. 2’deki sikke kralın 11. veya 12. yıllarında, Kat. No. 3’deki IX. Ariarathes sikkesi ise, kralın 12. yılında darp edilmiştir. Katalogda 4-9 numarada temsil edilen I. Ariobarzanes sikkeleri ise, kralın 27. (Kat. No. 4), 28. (Kat. No. 5- 6) ve 29. (Kat. No. 7-8) yıllarında basılmıştır. I. Ariobarzanes’e ait Kat. No. 9’daki sikkenin kaçıncı yılda basıldığı belirsizdir. Kat. No. 10-14’deki III. Ariobarzanes sikkeleri kralın 9. yılında, Kat. No. 15’deki sikkesi 11. yılında darp edilmiştir. III. Ariobarzanes’ ait 16 katalog numaralı son sikkenin ise basım yılı belirsizdirr.
This study consists of a total of 16 silver shakes belonging to the five different Kappadokia kings, purchased in the Erzurum Archaeological Museum collections and recorded through the Mussadere (Tribunal). The cycles first regarded as a whole were defined by chronological dates according to the catalogue created by Simonetta. The Cappadocia Kingdom scales in the Erzurum Archaeological Museum are represented in a small number compared to the other scales in the inventory. However, this study is important in terms of contributing to the comparison and evaluation of the data obtained by similar studies and defined findings in different museums in our country. According to the thin-plate made, the cat belongs to V. Ariarathes. No of. The scale in 1 was found to be from the scales that were printed in the "barbaric style" in the 3rd year, with the style and the unidentified legant structure of the king's strikes in the previous years. The VII. It belongs to Aria-rathes. No of. 2 in the 11th or 12th years of the king's cycle. No of. 3 in IX. Ariarathes' shell was slaughtered in King's 12th year. The scales of Ariobarzanes I, represented in the catalogue number 4-9, are the king's 27. The Cat. No of. 4 and 28. The Cat. No of. 5 and 6 and 29. The Cat. No of. It was published in 7-8 years. It belongs to Ariobarzanes. No of. It is unclear in which year the 9th silk is printed. by Kat. No of. 10 to 14th. Ariobarzanes sculptures in the 9th year of the king, Kat. No of. In the 15th century, the 11th century was destroyed. and III. Ariobarzanes's 16th catalogue number is the last edition year uncertain.
