This study aimed to examine the relationships between teachers' communication skills and their general self-efficacy levels and to determine the differentiation status of physical education and other branch teachers' views on variables. The sample of the study, which was carried out with correlational survey model, consisted of 306 teachers. The data of the study were obtained by using “Communication Skills Scale-Adult Form” and “General Self-Efficacy Scale”. The arithmetic mean and standard deviation values were used in descriptive statistics regarding the variables, and the independent samples t-Test was used to determine the differentiation between groups. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the variables, and stepwise regression analysis was used to determine to what extent the independent variables predicted the dependent variable. As a result of the research, it was determined that teachers' communication skills and general self-efficacy levels were high, and there was no significant difference between physical education and other branch teachers in terms of level. As another result of the study, it was determined that there was a positive and moderate relationship between all sub-dimensions of the communication skills scale and general self-efficacy. In addition, it was concluded that only the "basic skills and self-expression", "active listening and non-verbal communication" and "compliance with communication principles" dimensions of the communication skills scale were significant predictors of general self-efficacy. It was determined that the variables with the highest predictive power of general self-efficacy were basic skills and self-expression, while the variables of active listening, non-verbal communication and compliance with communication principles were found to be at low levels. The results show that general self-efficacy perceptions may increase as teachers' basic skills and skills of self-expression, active listening, and non-verbal communication and adherence to communication principles increase.
